Our History
Harmony Ridge Film Festival was the vision of two friends. One had recently purchased the former Ambridge Country Club with the dream of making it a place where people in Beaver County and the surrounding area could gather to enjoy music and other artistic endeavors. The other had made a couple of films of his own, attended a number of independent film festival and was a lover of old movies. Thus, over dinner one night, the idea of a film festival was conceived.
Last year, the vision of these two friends came to fruition with the inaugural year of the Harmony Ridge Film Festival.
Our first year was very successful with submissions from local filmmakers as well as those from across the country and Canada.
